We are writing to inform you how Croatoan is responding to COVID-19 (Coronavirus). Croatoan Council is aware of the rapidly changing situation. We are following the recommendations of Ottawa Public Health and other government agencies, and have made the following decisions:

The following practices are cancelled for all groups:

  • Sunday, March 15th, 2020

  • Monday, March 16th, 2020

  • Sunday, March 22nd, 2020

  • Monday, March 23rd, 2020

  • The performance at the retirement home on March 24th is cancelled.

As of March 12th, 2020, the 42nd Spring Concert and Banquet on May 2nd, 2020 will go ahead as planned.

Any participant who has travelled internationally must stay home and not attend practices for two weeks from their date of arrival to Canada.

If you or your child is sick, we ask that you stay home out of respect for the other participants.

Council and teachers will convene on Thursday, March 26th to re-evaluate the situation and decide how to move forward. We will communicate any decisions immediately following the meeting.
