We are very happy and proud to announce that the recipient of the 2020 Croatoan Scholarship is Nicholas Žuger.
Nicholas is a long time participant in our group, beginning from when he was five years old and continuing to his very active participation as a performer, co-teacher and member of the Croatoan executive council. He has also been instrumental in revamping and modernizing our web site, in creating our branding image, and in producing our latest CD in the last few years. All the while also continuing as a performing and also this year taking on a co-teaching role for our Adult/Senior kolo group.
Nicholas is in his last year of a BA program in Political Science and Canadian Studies at Carleton University, where he will be soon entering in a Masters of Arts program researching Croatian folkloric traditions in the Canadian diaspora.
