2019/2020 Registration

The Executive Council of the National Capital Region Croatian Folklore Ensemble CROATOAN hopes that you all had an amazing summer of 2019 and is looking forward to having you and/or your children register in the group in the upcoming 2019-2020 Folklore Season!

This is a notice to advise you that the registration date for CROATOAN’s 2019-2020 season is Sunday September 8th, 2019 from 12 PM to 1 PM. As well, you may register at the first class on Sunday, September 15th or Monday September 16th, 2019 (see attached sheet for group class times) at St. Leopold Mandic Croatian Church Hall (170 Hinchey Ave). The registration details, eligibility requirements, and the registration form itself that you can print and fill out and bring to registration are available on the "members" page.

You may also register online by filling in the registration form HERE. Once you send in the form, you will be contacted regarding the total amount for registration and can then pay via eTransfer to Please ensure you provide an email address. The payment deadlines remain the same for online registration.


Registration paid on or before the registration date will be $90.00/performer. Any registration paid after September 16 will be $100.00/performer. Membership in Croatoan for the year is $5. Each family registering a participant is required to buy at least one membership giving that family voting rights at Croatoan’s AGM and any other required general meetings throughout the year.


Please keep the receipt that you will receive when you pay your registration and use this receipt for any applicable tax benefits. No additional receipts will be generated or sent out after that. Please note: It is up to you to establish what, if any, aspect of the registration fee paid to Croatoan is eligible for a tax benefit on the federal and/or provincial component of your 2018 tax return.


Please note that if you have a CROATOAN instrument in your possession, it needs to be brought with you to be properly tagged and signed for at registration or first class. Also, you will be required to pay the rental fee of $30 per instrument in addition to the registration fee.
